Seminar leader:

Prof. Dr Thomas Egloffstein
Dipl.-Ing. Katrin Schumacher

Concept and organisation:
ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft Prof. Czurda und Partner mbH, Karlsruhe

In the one-day training courses, in addition to the basics of the required expertise according to LAGA PN 98, we also provide you with in-depth knowledge of equally important legal and sub-legal principles and also help you to reduce the risk of faulty or non-representative sampling and its consequences.
When disposing of soil materials (disposal in landfills or recycling), but also of road rubble or other mineral construction waste (building rubble, overburden, etc.), legally sound proof of the contamination of these materials and the appropriate disposal is becoming increasingly important. Cases of discrepancies between the declaration analysis and control tests are occurring more and more frequently. The consequences of such discrepancies can be costly for both the waste-generating and the waste-receiving agency.
In these cases, it is important that the sampling was carried out professionally by a certified sampler and documented by a correctly completed sampling protocol. An improper and thus unrepresentative sampling and an incomplete sampling protocol can quickly lead to warranty claims if there are contradictions in the various analysis results. It is therefore important that the material or waste samples are only taken by expert samplers and that the sampling itself is documented in detail. In the seminars of ICP mbH, you will be taught some basics to minimise the risks during disposal and you will also be offered the opportunity to have your staff trained on recognised courses.
