Reliable soil testing and quality control to help you build safely, comply with regulations and ensure long-term performance.
Our services cover the entire spectrum of environmental engineering, infrastructure assessment and technical monitoring. Each service is designed to provide clarity, manage risk and support reliable decision-making across all project phases.
Why geotechnical engineering is crucial for project safety
Uncertainty in the subsurface is one of the biggest risk factors in construction and landfill projects. Inadequate investigations or poor documentation can lead to structural deficiencies, regulatory issues and costly remediation. A structured geotechnical approach provides early clarity, supports informed design decisions and ensures that construction works will function as intended throughout their lifetime.
By combining field investigations, laboratory expertise and construction phase monitoring, we help to transform uncertainties in the subsurface into reliable engineering knowledge.
What we offer
Comprehensive site analyses.
We investigate soil, rock and groundwater conditions to provide essential data on bearing capacity, permeability, stability and hydrogeological behaviour.
Accredited testing and quality control.
We ensure that materials and construction measures comply with the applicable technical and regulatory standards through independent audits of third-party suppliers and project-related investigations.
Reliable material and waste characterisation.
Our laboratory analyses assess soil, waste and mineral materials with regard to their suitability, classification and environmental compatibility.
Environmental monitoring and inspections.
We identify emissions, anomalies or operational deviations at landfills and earthworks to ensure regulatory compliance and long-term safety.
Clear documentation and regulatory support.
Our reports provide transparency for authorities, planners and operators and form a reliable basis for authorisations and approvals.

How we work
Our geotechnical services integrate investigations, testing and monitoring into a coordinated workflow. We harmonise the technical results with the regulatory requirements and construction processes to ensure that the results are practical, verifiable and relevant to decision-making. Close co-operation with planners, contractors and authorities supports efficient implementation and consistent quality throughout all project phases.
Geotechnical and landfill investigations
Geotechnical and landfill investigations form the basis for understanding subsurface conditions and material behaviour. We carry out drilling, sampling and in-situ testing to assess stratigraphy, compaction properties and groundwater conditions. Geological and hydrogeological investigations complement these activities by providing insights into subsurface structures and hydraulic behaviour that support design development and regulatory approval.
Quality assurance and testing in landfill construction
Quality assurance is crucial when mineral geomembranes, geosynthetic materials and earthworks have to fulfil strict technical requirements. We offer accredited third-party testing and project-based in-house testing to verify material properties, compaction quality, permeability and installation standards. This ensures that sealing and drainage systems function reliably and fulfil the regulatory acceptance criteria.
Soil physical, waste and environmental chemical analyses
Laboratory analyses provide the necessary parameters for geotechnical planning and compliance with landfill requirements. We carry out soil physical tests to determine compaction behaviour, permeability and stability, as well as environmental chemical analyses to classify waste and assess material suitability. These analyses support safe use, disposal decisions and long-term environmental protection.
Environmental inspections and monitoring at landfills
Environmental inspections and monitoring support the safe operation and aftercare of landfill facilities. We conduct FID inspections and site-specific investigations to identify emissions, surface anomalies or operational problems at an early stage. Monitoring activities ensure that landfill systems function as intended and continue to meet environmental protection requirements.
Result
With reliable geotechnical data, verified construction quality and continuous monitoring, ground-related risks can be effectively controlled. Our services support safe construction, regulatory compliance and durable infrastructure that functions reliably throughout its operational life.
