  • Description
Description
  • Project description: The operators of the zinc smelter planned to increase the production capacity of the plant. As part of the increase in production capacity, modifications and additional equipment were to be added. The aim was not to increase the emissions emanating from the plant in the process. The planned expansion required a permit according to the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) including an environmental impact assessment according to the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (UVPG).
  • Our services: Coordination of the required authority procedures, preparation of a scoping document for the environmental impact assessment (EIA), monitoring of the scoping procedure and preparation of the environmental impact assessment report, preparation of the application documents for selected chapters of the BImSchG application, integration of the construction application and compilation and finalisation of the application documents for the complete BImSchG application as well as preparation of an initial status report (preliminary assessment and phase 1).
