The external testing centre of ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH in Karlsruhe

ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was successfully accredited by DAkkS in December 2025. In spring 2025, ICP mbH decided to transfer the long-standing accreditation of ICP Prüfungsgesellschaft mbH to the parent company and successfully completed the process by receiving the accreditation certificates for the inspection body and the testing laboratory.

Head of the external testing centre and the inspection body (IS) is M.Sc. Max Starke. 
Head of the test laboratory (PL) is Jan Kalsow.

The registration number of the accreditation certificate of the inspection body is D-IS-23058-01-00 and the test laboratory:  D-PL-23058-01-00.

ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH performs qualified third-party testing services within the scope of landfill construction measures as an independent, third-party testing centre in accordance with the German Landfill Ordinance (DepV). The company is based in Karlsruhe, where the central testing laboratory is also located.

ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH is of course also available for expert suitability and self-testing in landfill construction.

The inspection centre of ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH carries out inspections of landfill sealing components with highly qualified personnel. This includes mineral base and surface sealing systems, including drainage systems and recultivation layers. Of course, this also includes asphalt seals, plastic sealing sheets and pipe components. Our inspection activities are based on BQS 9.1 and the BAM external inspector guidelines.

The proof of our competence as an inspection body according to DIN EN/IEC17020:2012-07 is set out in the DAkkS accreditation certificate D-IS-23058-01-01, valid from: 01.12.2025.

The testing laboratory of the external testing body carries out numerous tests in the areas of geotechnical analyses and material tests on plastics with highly competent personnel and comprehensive equipment.

Our inspections are based on BQS 9.1 and the BAM external inspector guideline.

Proof of our competence as a testing laboratory in accordance with DIN EN/IEC17025:2018-03 is documented in the DAkkS accreditation certificate D-PL-23058-01-01, valid from 8 December 2025.

In addition, ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH is qualified in the field of sampling in accordance with the Substitute Building Materials Ordinance and soil science. The proof of our competence for professional sampling is deposited in the DAkkS accreditation certificate D-PL-23058-01-02, valid from 08.12.2025
