Our envi­ron­men­tal design approach com­bi­nes clas­sic engi­nee­ring design with eco­lo­gi­cal aspects. In our envi­ron­men­tal engi­nee­ring work, we com­bine our clas­si­cal engi­nee­ring design focus (on func­tio­n­a­lity, mini­miz­a­tion of con­struc­tion costs and ope­ra­tion costs as well as exten­sive usea­bi­lity) with envi­ron­men­tal con­cerns (pro­tec­tion of natu­ral envi­ron­ment, envi­ron­men­tal law, health aspects). Applying these high stan­dards, we pre­dict the type and size of envi­ron­men­tal impacts of pro­jects, assess envi­ron­men­tal risks and ela­bo­rate con­cepts to inte­grate struc­tures into land­s­cape while con­si­de­ring flora and fauna.
We create eco­lo­gi­cal com­pen­sa­tion areas which meet envi­ron­men­tal legal frame­works and which con­si­der eco­no­mic via­bilty and land use aspects. Our engi­neers and geo­lo­gists dedi­cate to deli­ver fea­si­ble and via­ble solu­ti­ons for envi­ron­men­tal miti­ga­tion to avoid or reduce impact on the envi­ron­ment. Already long before “sus­tainable deve­lo­p­ment” became a fashion­able term, we were proud to achieve las­ting envi­ron­men­tal bene­fits in each sin­gle pro­ject. Practically spea­king, our work out­put is cha­rac­te­ri­zed by long life span and maxi­mum envi­ron­men­tal bene­fit in the given finan­cial frame. In all these disci­pli­nes we are well aware, that the diverse cir­cum­s­tan­ces which we encoun­ter in our world wide acti­vity demands tailor made solu­ti­ons in every sin­gle case.
