Our environmental design approach combines classic engineering design with ecological aspects. In our environmental engineering work, we combine our classical engineering design focus (on functionality, minimization of construction costs and operation costs as well as extensive useability) with environmental concerns (protection of natural environment, environmental law, health aspects). Applying these high standards, we predict the type and size of environmental impacts of projects, assess environmental risks and elaborate concepts to integrate structures into landscape while considering flora and fauna.
We create ecological compensation areas which meet environmental legal frameworks and which consider economic viabilty and land use aspects. Our engineers and geologists dedicate to deliver feasible and viable solutions for environmental mitigation to avoid or reduce impact on the environment. Already long before “sustainable development” became a fashionable term, we were proud to achieve lasting environmental benefits in each single project. Practically speaking, our work output is characterized by long life span and maximum environmental benefit in the given financial frame. In all these disciplines we are well aware, that the diverse circumstances which we encounter in our world wide activity demands tailor made solutions in every single case.
